As we were walking past Bon Vin at Darlinghurst we were on the search for a creme brulee and the wonderful owner not only whipped up 3 for us while the restaurant wasn't even open, she gave us complimentary meringues and champaign as well. We can not thank you enough, it truly was a perfect ending to our holiday!

Bon Vin is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was absolutely gorgeous, warm, intimate, and unmistakably French. The waitstaff were exceptional, they were attentive, genuine, and clearly passionate about what they do. Every detail, from the way the wine was poured to the timing of each course, showed real care and professionalism. And the food… truly outstanding! Every dish was beautifully presented and full of incredible flavour, but the scallops were next level, perfectly cooked, buttery and delicate, easily the best I’ve ever tasted. It’s clear that Bon Vin is authentically French, not just in name or menu, but in the heart and soul of the experience. You can feel how much pride and attention goes into every plate and every interaction. Bon Vin isn’t just a meal, it’s an experience. A must-visit for anyone who loves exceptional food, world-class service, and that special touch of genuine hospitality.

A little gem hidden away in Darlinghurst. Relaxed and intimate setting, simple yet elegant. Food and wine were top notched! We started with some caviar, followed by the duck ravioli, beef fillet, barramundi en pappilote, crème brule and the special chocolate hazelnut dessert. Definitely a new found favourite! We will be back next time we are in Sydney!

My family had a gorgeous evening at Bon Vin, most importantly the food was delicious, everyone loved their meal. The whole menu looked divine, I had scallops followed by the beef, both were cooked to perfection. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance, the service is excellent. It is so to the city, after dinner we walked back to the city through two parks – it was such a lovely evening. We will definitely be back.

A weekend in Sydney. What a treat. Was made a next level stay with the discovery of Bon Vin. What an absolute superb find. Atmosphere - could be fooled you’re in Paris. Parfait! Michelle greeted us at the door and pooped compliments upon us about the chef (owner). What a diamond find on every level. The food was absolutely amazing. Top of the list.
