We were looked after by a young man named James, and from the start he was the most informative and professional person we have encountered in a long time. His service was exceptional and a credit to Marriott. We had the best afternoon celebrating my Mum's birthday. The High Tea was amazing!! We took our 3 kids and they absolutely loved it!! Our beautiful waitress absolutely made our day!! She made sure everyone was looked after, even the kids and made our experience very special. She was the best!! Would definitely recommend!!

Just beautiful!! We had a special girls day at Chapter & Verse for High Tea yesterday, taking along my Mum visiting from Melbourne, and my daughter & bestie to celebrate their upcoming 5th Birthdays. The mini kids high tea was just adorable, the girls felt SO special and it’s all thank you to Frankie, our wonderful server who was so happy, polite, friendly & informative. She made it even more wonderful for us so thank you again! 💕 the dietary requirements were looked after amazingly also. We’ll be back! A new yearly tradition absolutely xx And even a “5” made out of mini cakes with a sparkler on top to celebrate the little ladies, so kind!

We had high tea on my sisters bday. Absolutely amazing food, drinks and atmosphere. The service was great but James went above and beyond. He was lovely, anticipated what we would need before we asked. Thank you James for making our time there memorable
