We stopped here on a lovely Launceston Saturday afternoon, and the place was a breath of fresh air. David and Robyn behind the bar were lovely and personable, and took our requests for old records, and recommended some wines for us to try- good to see Tassie locals making it work. Wine was on point, vibe was great, overall a lovely afternoon there. We cannot wait to go back and visit ASAP.

We found out about The Dill Pickle Club from an architectural review just before our trip to Launceston...what a gem! It is a cool, retro bar with some really clever design elements. The welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable folk serve great drinks. We didn't get a chance to try the food as we were on the way to dinner. The sound system and retro music (on vinyl) were excellent, and it looks like there will be a terrace/roof garden in the near future. We look forward to revisiting this hidden treasure, upstairs in the CBD, on our next trip to Launceston.

This place rocks! The atmosphere is set by some beautiful old speakers from the 70’s playing vinyl. They serve the best margaritas in town and have amazing pickles. Great service from the owners, great snacks and vibe. Don’t miss it!

What a fabulous chilled venue, the conversation with the bartenders was fun and fact filled and relaxed. the music playing via vinyl smooth and just the atmosphere and visual beauty of the place was wanting me too stay longer than I actually had too. Cant wait to return. Finally a little bit of that quality high class venue we see in other cities around the world, not just Australia.

Such lovely people, perfect balance of the chill retro cool vibe, cutest logo, and made us a brilliant pickle Martini when I enquired about pickle-y drink options! If I lived here, I'd be here all the time. Instead, I'll settle for returning on any future visits and will hopefully be able to purchase a pickle club member shirt some future day when they exist!!
