Terrific place to eat in Launceston. The Greek food is delicious, the coffee is good and the staff are very friendly, efficient and attentive. There's plenty of seating and the outdoor tables add to the atmosphere in this leafy section of Charles St. Had Souvlaki and Greek salad for dinner and the went back for lunch the next day for Spanakopita (spinach slice?), delicious tender calamari and of course, Greek salad.

Where do I start? We arrived at 9:00am, were greeted politely, and told we would be seated shortly — a good start. However, the experience quickly went downhill. There were no “reserved” signs visible and only one couple seated outside, so we asked if we could sit at the table for six near the window. We were met with an abrupt and unfriendly response that it was reserved. We then asked about sitting outside, but were told tables could not be joined. An inside table at the back was offered, but with the condition that we would need to leave within an hour and a half. When we asked if a small table could be added outside, we were told it wouldn’t fit and that we could “squish in” if we liked — again, delivered with poor attitude. When we tried to decide between ourselves, the staff member responded with, “Well, I’ll leave you two to sort it out,” which felt dismissive and unprofessional. As a result, we chose to leave and went elsewhere. Unfortunately, the unwelcoming attitude meant you lost our business before we even had the chance to order. A more courteous and flexible approach would have made a big difference to our experience.

I had the omelette with spicy salami, feta, and olives. It just tasted like egg. I tried to find the added ingredients to get some flavour, but it just wasn't happening. The breakfast menu is very "egg" heavy, so if eggs are not your thing, there is no other option.

Very much enjoyed and it was everything I needed. A busy schedule with no breaks for months I booked a table for a late Sunday breakfast/brunch as a treat and a reset moment with my husband. Wonderful service and excellent food. Everything was perfect and exactly the reset moment I’d hoped for. Well looked after.
