Itโs okay! Good coffee, average food Iโd say. Portions are small for a man. Food is not filling and the price you pay on the weekends doesnโt make up for it. Sorry but leaving half empty stomach. I paid 35 dollars for this plate and a coffee so expected to feel full. Thatโs all.
Great cafe for coffee, brunch or a sweet treat. Itโs also nice sitting outside on George St. my brunch was amazing!!!
Great Cappuccinos and a super charming place with lots of character. Cosy, lively vibe, friendly team and fun interior details. And yes โ even the bathrooms are worth a visit ๐
We came here whilst travelling from interstate. I had the muffin benedict which was tasty, but felt the portiin size could have been bigger given the price. The service was friendly. Coffee good. Decor was charming.
Frankieโs is a relative newcomer on the Launceston cafe scene, a short stroll from the city centre at the bottom end of George Street. Delicious menu with a health food kick. I had avocado and feta on sourdough with pickled tomatoes which elevated the dish. I asked about them, they were that good. Theyโre made in-house, always a good sign. The ambience at Frankieโs is deeply casual, with rickety little tables and bare brickwork walls adding to the ambience. This place was opened by Lara and Chris, owners and creators of the Cabin Coffee in Exeter, my own neck of the woods. Chris is a coffee fiend and business maker, and Lara is the stylist and marketer. What a clever duo. Frankieโs is now the plaything of new owners who look set to carry on the great traditions of food and atmosphere in dependable style. Do visit!!
