Good quality meal and good service. Highly recommend. Went there for dinner with friends. At the first glance meal prices look expensive. I ordered slow cooked beef cheek. Food was cooked beautifully and the portion was big. Price, quality and the portion matched. I will go back again.

Before heading to Sovereign Hill to see the lights, I had a chance to enjoy a quick dinner at Freda’s Cafe with my family and friends. I must say, the place had a great ambience and the staff were really friendly. I asked my friends about their meals, and they said everything was absolutely delicious. We ordered a variety of dishes, but I just went with a classic chicken parma. I know, nothing fancy—but the chicken was juicy and not dry at all! Special thanks to Mafel, who was very accommodating and attentive to our requests—well done! We’ll definitely be coming back to this cafe!
Who knew doom scrolling on TikTok would end up with me and the family having the most amazing food and perfect coffee. Grandson had a great time there too (2yr old) with pictures, pencils and friendliness extended to him that went above and beyond think his milkshake was a hit as he drank it all 🙂. I couldn't rave more about this restaurant if I tried. Four different meals (kids nuggets and chips didn't survive long enough for a picture) all cooked beautifully. Prices were reasonable. Coffee was so good we got one to go. Will definitely be a repeat customer
Great food, cozy place and very friendly staff, what more can you ask? We made a booking just 10 minutes before arriving at the restaurant and they could still accept us. The staff was really friendly and gave us very good recommendations. Grilled scallops as a starter was spot on. The Italian beef fillet and the supreme chicken were amazing 👏 The pineapple 🍍 mocktail was refreshing and complemented the dishes well. The place was spacious and had a nice atmosphere. I highly recommend this place if you are in Ballarat.
