We visited for Christmas dinner, but unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to the holiday spirit. Our entree was incredibly salty—so much so that the guests at the table next to us commented on the exact same issue. When we brought this to the staff's attention, the chef insisted the seasoning was correct and refused to acknowledge the feedback. This overwhelmed our palates and dampened the rest of the meal. It’s disappointing when a kitchen prioritizes ego over the guest experience.

Tried their Set Menu 1. I had octopus for the first time and absolutely loved it. The bread with baba ghanoush and eggplant was amazing, and the highlight for me was their lamb — honestly the best lamb I’ve ever tasted. The only downside, unfortunately, was the portion size, but I can’t really complain because the food was that good. The service was amazing as well.

Everything we ordered was extremely tasty! We had the bread, baba ganoush, bug skewer, octopus, lamb rib, chat potato and asparagus. Drinks were also delicious! Smokey margarita was excellent. We also had the meringue dessert and the baked cake and the cake was such a winner. Will be back! Laneway seating had a perfect brunch vibe.

One of the most fabulous tasting menus in Brisbane, but the atmosphere can make enjoying it difficult. The octopus, and steak are two of the highlights of brisbane, absolutely recommended, but the entire tasting menu was delightful, except for the Tuna. The portions are hearty, the food near heavenly, and the cocktails were passable. The major drawback is the noise level of the restaurant, a loud crescendo that made it difficult to talk to others. Even with all that the meal has stayed on our mind and we will definitely return, though perhaps for outside quieter seating.

We came on a Tuesday night to celebrate the husband's birthday and we're blown away by the food and service. Every dish was so flavorful and well presented. Cocktails were delicious. Thank you for a lovely dinner Team!
