Came here for the set course menu and the food tasted really well and the room and ambiance were perfect. The wait staff were really friendly and attentive and really helpful. The quality of the food is amazing, although some foods were a bit too salty or strong in flavour, but overall a great experience!
I wondered how a restaurant could have 4.9 stars out of five, but after dining here I realised precisely why. Excellent food even better service. I recommend the croquettes, the duck and the zucchini flower
Had the tasting menu tonight and honestly everything was on point. The zucchini flower and octopus were both super flavourful, and the Stirling Range eye fillet was cooked perfectly with really good mushroom and truffle elements. Desserts were even better than expected โ the mulled red wine crรจme brรปlรฉe was insane, and the blood peach entremet was a really nice fresh finish. Service was great, timing was good, and the Below & Above Pinot Noir matched the whole menu really well. Overall a really solid dining experience. Would definitely recommend the tasting menu.
I am giving this four stars for the food because most of the dishes we had was outstanding. They were all good but I wanted to go because of their steak tartare. It was good but not even close as their other dishes. The leek foam with the artichokes was so good. Like licker the plate good. The octopus had some chew to it which Waa really good and the sauce went perfectly with it. We didn't have any of their mains but serious food envy seeing the other tables get theirs.
Have visited a couple times and both were pleasant. On the first visit I had the duck 3 ways. It was delicious. On the second visit we had a range of share plates. The croquettes and agnolotti were nice. The beef marrow was tasty and the side of brioche paired well with it. The tartare had a nice balance of flavours. The octopus was cooked well and was also tasty. The fish was okay, however I found it to be too fishy for my liking. The carrots that were served with it were nice though. Each dish was presented nicely. While the food was good, Iโm only giving 4 stars as itโs nothing too memorable. Service is friendly and reasonably quick. Venue itself is really nice and a great date night spot. Itโs a bit more on the expensive side but itโs worth a try.
