We had an overall average dining experience at La Vue Waterfront Restaurant — not particularly outstanding, but not disappointing either. For starters, we ordered the scallops, which were slightly overcooked and a bit firm. The garlic bread was excellent, made with a proper baguette. The soup du jour, lobster-based, was quite rich and thick; however, it tasted slightly bitter and felt overly heavy, with too much flour. For mains, the lamb had a noticeable gamey flavour that the sauce did not fully mask. The salmon, on the other hand, was very well cooked and enjoyable. The kids’ beef steak was a little tough, making it difficult for a child to eat. Desserts — the bavarois and profiteroles — were both good and nicely presented. Service was a highlight of the evening. The French waiter was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. The only downside was the waterfront view being partially obstructed by large machinery, which took away from the ambience.

Have been before and going tomorrow. Fine dining, and views to die for right on the river. Stellar service, and food quality tops and consistent.

Absolutely spectacular view. The wait staff were some of the best we have ever experienced - even taking the time to hold the door open for us as we left. The food was phenomenal, so many quality choices and absolutely delicious. I really liked how they dimmed the lights as the evening progressed - it gave such good ambiance.

Had my birthday dinner at La Vue Restaurant and it was absolutely beautiful! 🎉 The riverfront view at night is stunning — you can see the Story Bridge all lit up, which made the evening feel so special. The staff were super friendly and attentive💕 The food was delicious — perfectly cooked pork belly, chicken… and fresh veggies. Such a romantic and elegant spot for celebrations. Highly recommend for birthdays, anniversaries, or any special occasion! 🌟🍷

Amazing food and amazing service here. Came with my partner and 5 year old for my birthday meal and it was fantastic. The food was beautiful, the service was great and friendly, and the views are stunning. Couldn’t fault this place one bit. Thank you!
