Wonderful little Pattiserie in Launceston. Great selection of pastries both sweet and savoury. The coffee is good and the staff are extremely friendly and genuine in their endeavours to ensure you have a positive experience in their little shop. You can see the team here has an authentic food sensibility and I look forward to seeing how they evolve and grow.

One of the best cafeโ€™s in Launceston if not all of Australia ! They bake genuine crispy croissants with no moist soft bits and with a generous selection of dessert cakes to choose from. The coffee is also excellent where the beans used and the taste of the blend is as good as Pabloโ€™s and Rustyโ€™s in Sydney CBD. We keep coming back for our morning and lunch coffee since discovering this cafe. Itโ€™s a true French patisserie down under.

Oh my! What a lovely discovery in Launceston. An absolutely decadent and delicious French patisserie. I tried a raspberry and rose choux pastry and then returned later for a box of the minis! The fruit tarts and lemon meringue were my favourite, but all of them sparked joy in their unique way. Cafes are little bastions of community and joy, and Le Petit Chou is no exception. Lovely service, nice coffee. I completely recommend visiting if you are in Launceston, I will be going back for sure.

Absolutely stunning pastries. Everything looks like artwork โ€” and tastes even better. The Parisian flan is incredible: silky, rich, perfect texture. Lemon tart beautifully balanced with that toasted meringue on top. The best patisseries weโ€™ve found in Tasmania so far. Take one, take fiveโ€ฆ youโ€™ll regret buying too few ๐Ÿ˜„

This is without a doubt the best French bakery in Tasmania! From the moment you walk in, youโ€™re greeted with warm, friendly service that makes you feel so welcome. The team are always helpful, patient, and happy to recommend something if you canโ€™t decide. The pastries are next-level delicious โ€” beautifully made, fresh, and full of flavour. Everything I tried was amazing, and itโ€™s clear how much care and skill goes into their baking. I loved it so much that I went twice in the two days I was in Launceston, and each visit was just as good as the last. Whenever I come back to Launceston, this bakery will be at the top of my list of must-visit places. If you love authentic pastries, great coffee, and friendly service, you absolutely have to stop by here.
