One of the best creme brulee a I had in Australia... Beats Queensland. Maybe one better in Melbourne. The pastry also looked proper French but ... creme brulee is a true test of French desserts and baking. A stall in Adelaide markets.

Les Deux Coqs is one of my favourite stalls at the Adelaide Central Market. I have been coming here for about 6 months now. I have been mainly going there for their tarts, but they do have an amazing range of French produce including pastries, baked goods, meat and sauces. The staff are always super friendly and welcoming. Their tarts are my personal favourite. The strawberry tart and the pear tart are both absolutely delicious. Always fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully made. The tart shell is amazing. The right balance of hardness to give you that crunch. But not too hard to the point that it’s like a cracker. Definitely worth a visit if you’re at the market!

Been coming here occasionally for a couple years, always love the pastries so much (especially the lemon meringue and the raspberry creme brulee). Managed to get a Too Good to Go bag yesterday, very happy they decided to start using Too Good to Go!
