Great place to grab a bite or for a special occasion. Visited from Melbourne and ended up eating here twice. Food and service was amazing. For appetisers we had the ceviche, tom yum dumplings, and oysters which were all great. For mains we had the duck, roasted cauliflower, short ribs, wagyu Masaman and the fried rice. For dessert we had the halo halo, chocolate ganache and mochi. I wish we had more space in our stomachs because everything we tried was delicious. I usually get disappointed with non traditional Asian fusion restaurants but this place was something different. Dishes were very creative and everything tasted amazing. Definitely will be coming back to try more of the food.

Wonderful dinner, fun cocktails, creative food - all around a great experience. Our first meal was so good we ate here twice in one week. Highlights for me were the oysters and ceviche which lilymu put their own unique spin on - if you love southeast Asian food this is such a fun spot to try. There was also a grilled fish dish the chef was testing out - if you find it on the menu, highly recommend - a big dish so good to share! Also - donโ€™t skip the dessert, we tried one of everything, all great but the halo halo was our favorite. Not what youโ€™d expect from a typical halo-halo, there was a meringue on top, and the perfect mix of pandan, sorbet, sago - thought it was one of their most creative dishes.

Where do I start with this review. I'm extremely disappointed and shocked at how highly rated this place is. It definitely is overpriced, has poor quality ingredients and underqualified chefs. The only thing I can say that was positive was the wait staff who were quite attentive. We came here for our anniversary and were very underwhelmed with our experience. First off, warning that this place is predominantly outdoors so is very uncomfortable to eat in during summer. There is no aircon. Secondly, the food was extremely overpriced and definitely not fresh. I got their signature feast and every dish was underwhelming. The oysters and kingfish were on the fishy side, definitely not fresh. The flavour of the kingfish ceviche was very sour, cucumbery and fishy. You could tell it was made quite a long time ago and had time to ferment the fish and break down the quality. The disappointment continued with the chicken karage sando and gyoza. The karage came RAW (see picture) and when I flagged it to the staff, all they wanted to offer me was a replacement slider. I don't think that is appropriate given how disgusting and concerning this is that a chef cannot even cook a small chicken piece. I asked for reimbursement instead and they removed $16 which really didn't sum up to the dissatisfaction and disgust we already had with the food. The gyoza was also flavourless and very gamey. I was confused how it was beef when it tasted like lamb. Really not a great dish. The mains were also disappointing, while they were the best things we had it, we were comparing it to quite a low bar. The vegetables were flavourless and oily, the meat again gamey and the cauliflower was saturated in oil. To top it off, the halo halo dessert was the finale dish to end the night. Again, this felt very cheap and confusing. They had these cheap bits of jelly in the dessert coupled with a sour tasting cheesecake under some coconut ice cream. Overall it was a very sad experience for us. 4.7 is absolutely a lie, I don't know how such a restaurant could have such high reviews with such horrendous food. Tread with caution, don't celebrate your special day here. Your money will be better spent elsewhere.

We came here for a birthday lunch as we read it was a hatted restaurant and got the set menu ($98pp). The service was fantastic; the waiter ensuring we always had water, table was consistently cleared and dishes arrived promptly. The dishes were cooked well; the ceviche and the cauliflower were stand out dishes. The smoked ribs were not the best tasting and the gyoza were boring but overall a good set menu. A complimentary glass of champagne for myself and partner for my birthday as well as a sparkler on the dessert were a nice touch. However, it was an extremely hot day and there were only fans, as it is an outdoor venue, which made sitting unpleasant at times.

Came here for dinner with my partner and had the set menu. The choice of dishes, and the order in which it came was great. The prawn in betel leaf was a strong start - shocked at how much flavour it packed for what we saw. All hits, no misses. Highlight was the eggplant fingers with the grated cheese, spectacular gimme 14. And the taro mochi ice cream, get in ma belleh. Service was 10/10, staff were attentive, friendly and made our experience even more memorable. Was surprised by complimentary dessert (complimentary cause it was a celebration dinner). Coming back soon. Shout out to Dora our server turned friend, you made our night!
