Amazing venue, got recommended to come by friends and we will be back! Had the three entrees of peach and stracciatella salad (the candied walnuts were so good!), the steak tartare and the scallops. For mains, we had the goats cheese souffle and the creme brulee and hazelnut mousse for dessert. I don't normally enjoy mousse but I would've happily eaten 10 servings of that. Everything was incredible and the wait staff were lovely with helping us to choose wines to have. Highly recommend and will be back, thanks to the Madeleine team :)

The Beef T-Bone platter was very generous, and the steak itself was cooked perfectly. It was delicious, though admittedly a little chewy in spots. A big plus is that the gravy is refillable! The salmon was perfectly cooked (still nice and pink inside) with a creamy yummo sauce. The oysters were fresh with a wonderful, tangy shallot dressing. Cocktails was lacking alcohol, but sweet and yummy. ​The service was great, and the overall ambience was nice. The only real downside was that the seating felt too cramped, which made the experience slightly less comfortable.

Beautiful food and amazing service! The atmosphere is lovely, as it gets darker, the space becomes even more magical with all the candles lit up. We had the baked Camembert, sourdough & butter, the T-bone (which was incredible), the chocolate mousse, and the crème brûlée — everything was absolutely delicious, and we’d recommend it all. Our friend Fhad recommended the restaurant to us, and we’re so glad he did. Even though he was busy looking after the bar, he made sure we were well taken care of. He’s genuinely passionate about what he does, he took the time to explain the dishes and share his recommendations in such detail. It’s clear he loves his work, and it was lovely seeing him in his element. We couldn’t have been happier with the whole experience and will definitely be back next week!

Madeleine in Mt Lawley is an absolute gem! The venue is beautiful and cosy, the staff were really friendly! We started with the beef tartare, scallops, and oysters, each dish beautifully presented. The T-bone for two was massive and cooked perfectly, accompanied by heaps of crispy potato, and the creme brûlée was the perfect sweet finish. The only problem we had was there too much food! Highly recommend for a special night!
