First time there under new ownership. Food was excellent in terms of the asparagus soup, the soufflé and the Beef Wellington. Snails, swapped out butter for oil for some reason, not a fan of that. Great service, great staff. Service not what it used to be FOH wise but BOH still excellent (other than snails). Previously I went to Montrachet because it was the best of personal service in Brisbane. It is great but it’s now ‘Brisbane’ style. Still one of our best restaurants.

We dIned at Montrachet for Saturday lunch. it was a wonderful, relaxed, delicious experience. Staff were friendly and professional, food was amazing. We dined a la carte - hard to pick a stand out: fish, steak and the dessert soufflé were incredible. If you are looking for a special high quality culinary experience - highly recommended.

A French experience not to be missed!!! We dined here last night and it was an absolutely beautiful experience in every way. Anicet, our server, was attentive, thoughtful and perfect at anticipating our needs before we even had a chance to ask. The timing of every course and drink was very considered and impeccably delivered. Nothing was rushed, and neither too slow. The ambience of the restaurant was warm and charming…. and beautifully French. The food… all I can say is it was just divine! An absolute taste sensation! 🤩 From every aspect of the freshly house baked bread, with crunchy salt crystals and yummy smoked butter… the crab soufflé (just sooo good), the amazing duck dish for 2 (perfectly cooked and the orange sauce was sensational), to the famous passionfruit soufflé for dessert. Even the final coffee for the evening was rich and creamy… and spot on! Such a memorable night and a special treat for a short notice Friday night dinner. Thank you for looking after us so well. We highly recommend for a romantic date night out, or special occasion with family or friends 🙏🦋☺️

I had the most wonderful dining experience at Montrachet to celebrate my birthday. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed with genuine hospitality and an atmosphere that felt both elegant and inviting. A very special thank you goes to Remon, whose exceptional service made the evening unforgettable. He was thoughtful, humorous, and attentive throughout, always ensuring that every detail was perfect. His carefully selected wine pairings with the fish courses elevated the meal to another level — truly showcasing his expertise and passion. Behind the scenes, I would also like to express my gratitude to the incredible chefs who crafted such refined and flavourful dishes. Each plate was a piece of art, and together with the ambience and service, the entire evening felt surreal — the perfect way to celebrate such a special occasion. In my three years in Brisbane, I have never tasted anything like this. The combination of food, wine, and service made it an extraordinary and rare experience that I will remember for years to come. Thank you Remon and the Montrachet team, for creating memories that made my birthday so special.

Traditional French dishes which we really enjoyed. We are tourists and do not have time for repeat visits, so the staffs were kind enough to to let us order only one set of the Bastille menu and other items on the menu freely instead of asking us to order the set menu for everyone at the table. Loved the food and atmosphere, will definitely revisit when we come to Brisbane in the future.
