A Memorable Evening at Penfolds Magill Estate Restaurant, an experience that perfectly marries Australiaโ€™s winemaking heritage with world-class contemporary cuisine. The seasonal degustation menu was nothing short of exceptional. The standout dishes for me were the pork and beef courses. What elevated the meal to extraordinary heights was the iconic wine pairings. A special mention to Oliver, whose knowledgeable guidance, enthusiasm for the wines, and thoughtful attention to detail made the experience feel personal and seamless. This is fine dining at its best and highly recommended for any special occasion!

The stuffed chicken wing was another highlight: rich, comforting, and incredibly well executed, with layers of flavour that showed real thought and technique behind the dish. And not to forget the bread, omg! honestly, to die for. Warm, indulgent, and impossible not to go back for seconds. Itโ€™s one of those small details that leaves a lasting impression and sets the tone for the entire meal. Service was flawless throughout, attentive, warm, and knowledgeable without ever feeling intrusive. The team genuinely enhances the experience, guiding you through each course and making you feel completely looked after. Dining here is more than just a meal; itโ€™s a celebration of food, wine, and storytelling done at the highest level. A truly memorable experience and one I will always return to.

Great view to the north of Adelaide metro with a classy setup. Food is good, some interesting idea and ingredients aiming for local produce. Wine pairing reasonably good as they should be from the one of the biggest producer in the country. The peak enjoyment over 3 hours was the 10 minutes with the glass of Grange - so called top 10 Shiraz in the world, under the view of the city. There is a financial cost associated with all these, which I will say expensive for the level of enjoyment and satisfaction. Still give 5 stars as I think >98% people should be more than happy with here.

A Masterclass in Modern Australian Fine Dining Dining at Penfolds Magill Estate Restaurant was, without exaggeration, one of the most extraordinary culinary experiences of my life. From the moment we arrived, every element was executed with precision, warmth, and understated elegance. This is a restaurant that doesnโ€™t just serve food โ€” it tells a story, celebrates the land, and elevates every bite into something unforgettable. The menu was a symphony of texture, flavour, and thoughtful presentation. Each course felt like a love letter to South Australian produce, artfully composed and expertly balanced. The Magill Estate Crumpet was a revelation โ€” delicate, savoury, perfectly constructed โ€” it captured the essence of the estate with every bite. The oyster with Pink Lady apple was an inspired opening snack: bright, clean, and utterly moreish. The school prawns with pumpkin, melon, and crystal caviar offered a sublime interplay of salt, sweetness, and crunch โ€” easily one of the highlights of the meal. But it was the duck that stole the show โ€” cooked to perfection, rich and succulent, it was a masterclass in flavour and restraint. Every wine pairing was considered and elevated the dish it accompanied, showcasing Penfoldsโ€™ heritage and finesse. The service was impeccable โ€” professional yet personable, attentive without intrusion. And of course, dining against the backdrop of the Adelaide Hills with views over the vineyard added a poetic sense of place. A truly exceptional experience from start to finish. I canโ€™t recommend it highly enough.
