Iโve been here a few times now, sometimes with friends for a quick drink and nibbles, and sometimes on my own. The beef tartare is something special, and the rock oysters (I always order at least two!) are some of the freshest Iโve ever had. I usually sit at the bar, which I really enjoy, it feels intimate and you get lovely, personable service. The service has always been great. I canโt quite give five stars for atmosphere only because Iโve never been when itโs super busy, so Iโd be guessing; but every visit so far has had a relaxed, elegant vibe. If youโre after a glass of beautiful French wine and a few sneaky oysters, this is your spot. Itโs not the cheapest, but you can enjoy a small fine-dining experience without committing to a full meal.
Returning customers. I like their selection of wine and the relaxing atmosphere with an energetic vibe The crรจme brรปlรฉe has certainly improved since last year. The sugar coating was too thick previously, but this time itโs perfect.
Great food and service, a little quiet, but we just arrived for a late lunch in September. A sure return when in Brisbane next! French food๐ ๐ซ๐ท๐
My experience at Petite was extremely underwhelming. Waited at least 20 minutes for our drinks to come. Ceviche, scallops, and oysters were okay. Where I really got frustrated was the burger that was gone in two bites and The duck โravioliโ was simply 3 dumplings drenched in soy sauce that left a salty taste in my mouth the rest of the evening for a whopping $37. Left frustrated, disappointed, and hungry.
Excellent food and wine. The chefs are French and they serve perfectly executed and tasty dishes. We will 100% go back to try the rest of their menu. Especially the desserts!
