Cosy venue in winter for cocktails by the open fire - and stopped by tonight to try it in summer - even better. The couches facing out to the street are such a vibe. Service is always good, staff are friendly and cocktails are next level.

Hidden treasure in Ballarat!! Visiting this venue for the first time yesterday, and both the food and cocktails are of high standards, everything single thing was delicious! Had 3 entrees, 1 main, 1 dessert and 2 different cocktails each and all were excellent. Very friendly and attentive service, ambiance was very chilled. Can’t wait to go back. Thank you

Ballarat is so lucky to have such a fantastic venue. My friends and I had an amazing experience at Renard for a late afternoon meal and cocktails. The venue is beautifully styled with plenty of natural light. We had the chef’s selection at $45 each which was divine, with high quality ingredients and presentation was perfect. The starters were various breads, dips, terrine and olives followed by the mains which were steak and pork with a beetroot salad. The cocktails were outstanding too. The service was also excellent. I will be recommending this place to everyone! Thank you so much to the staff and chef.

A nice little hidden gem in Ballarat. The setting was cosy and quite comfortable on a Friday night. The food menu was decent and was designed to share. The quality was very good indeed. The service could have been a bit better but it was still an overall nice experience.

Such a cool place for dinner and drinks! We headed up on Saturday night for a few non-alcoholic cocktails and a light dinner, and we were blown away by the service, food and the quality of the N/A drinks menu! Being non drinkers for nearly two years, we struggle to find good places that offer a decent menu that caters to us non drinkers. RENARD gets a full star review for the quality staff and food. We will be back for sure!
