An outstanding French dining experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is vibrant yet refined, elevated beautifully by a live band that adds just the right touch of Parisian charm without overpowering the conversation. The food is truly exceptionalโauthentic French flavours, perfectly executed, and clearly crafted with attention to detail and passion. Every dish was balanced, rich, and memorable, from the first bite to the last. Service was attentive and seamless, making the evening feel effortlessly special. A restaurant that delivers on ambience, cuisine, and experienceโeasily one of the best French restaurants around.
Thoroughly enjoyed eating here. The duck was the best Iโve had, moist and juicy. The pate and the roe boat (salmon roe, caviar, and uni) were fresh, sweet, and delicious although on the pricey side. Cocktails and sparkling wine were excellent. Service was superb and the ambience was top-notch with live jazz music. Escargot was just okay for the price (not the best Iโve had) but overall a great experience!
Went for Christmas Eve dinner and loved it. Waiter was very helpful with recommendations and explaining certain dishes. The duck parfait was exceptional, although I think one between two people is the play as it is a generous portion. The Beef Bourguignon was the best I've ever had - extremely generous portion size and the meat was so tender, would 100% recommend this dish. The Pommes Anna side dish is also incredible - the buttery caramel sauce that it is served in was so good. Dessert wise I got the Chocolate Mousse Tart and it didn't disappoint, pretty indulgent but served with a lovely creme fraiche ice cream that cuts through the heaviness of the chocolate. And if course, the live jazz was great, very good atmosphere and skilled musicians who give a bit of interaction too. Overall loved my experience - it is pricey so more of a special occasion place but would definitely recommend.
Back for special occasions and this time was to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Food has always been of great standard; my daughter loves their escargots. The rib eye was awesome although 1kg was too much even for a party of 3. I wish they would add one-person rib eye to the menu (after the reno perhaps)! Shout out to the live band as well! Excellent performance.
We had an amazing experience at Restaurant Hubert! We tried the duck parfait which came with complimentary bread. It was absolutely delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly, probably one of the best weโve ever had, and the lamb cutlets were tender and full of flavour. We also loved the beef tartare, so flavoursome. The escargots were a bit mid compared to the other dishes, but everything else more than made up for it. The service was warm and attentive, and the staff were attentive and made us feel welcome. The live jazz music added such a great atmosphere to the night. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience! Easily one of my fave restos in Sydney now
