Walked into a beautiful quirky Cafe filled with history and love. Eggs Benny hit every note and partners breaky roll was to die for. Great atmosphere with country classic music and gear chandlers. Customer service is great. Cheap and great cafe in my books. Will definitely be back when I am back in ballarat.
Rust n Gold is truly a hidden gem in Ballarat for breakfast and lunch. We had the vegetable brekkie and the vegetable omelette, and both were absolutely delicious โ fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The coffee was excellent too, which always makes the experience even better. The cafรฉ itself has a really nice, welcoming vibe, and what stood out the most was the staff โ genuinely friendly, attentive, and lovely to deal with. If youโre in Ballarat and looking for a great spot for a relaxed breakfast or lunch, this place is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended! โ๐ฅ๐ณ
I've come once by myself for lunch and and then we came in a group of 5 for a Christmas Day promotional lunch. On the special Christmas lunch, we could choose a main dish each and share entrees and calamari. There was plenty of food to share and the main dish was generous too. Nice hearty flavour too. On the standard day lunch I had a Ruben sandwich with chips. The chips had a herb flavour which tasted good and unique.
Great breakfast spot! ๐ฅโ Affordable, tasty food and super friendly service. Quick, relaxed, and great value for money โ the perfect place for a casual catch-up or morning coffee. ๐
Best Parma I've had in Ballarat hands down! The chicken was so thick, cooked to perfection and massive, even my oldest son who's an absolute piggo struggled to finish it and said it was like half a chicken worth of snitty. The toppings were delicious and so generous, the side salad was so good (don't change the dressing ๐ its perfect) and the chips were giant, thick and well seasoned. We had the Haloumi fries as well which were so good!! I almost ordered another set - glad I didn't because we ended up with left over parmas. The kids spaghetti was very good, and my 4 year old ate every bite! All of this was discounted for the first few days special, but I noticed the og price was already $8 cheaper than most of the other places in Ballarat. Very reasonable, very generous! Can't wait to come back ๐ป I'll come for a coffee soon too.
