I can highly recommend the Sir Charles Darling Hotel. The venue was literally fully booked, with the staff run off their feet. We expected a bit of a wait, but our delicious meals were served promptly. All of the staff were lovely as well.

We booked a table at the last minute for dinner tonight. When we were sitting down waiting for our meals, we heard the lady say they were fully booked out for the evening… and I can see why. For two mains and two drinks it cost $80 bucks which we would say is pretty good. My partner mainly came for the mash which he said was PERFECT 🤩 My calamari was delicious and the chippies were the best pub chips you could get! ❤️

The staff are friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The food is good and particularly suited to those who enjoy generous portion sizes, though it may be less appealing for diners who prioritise refined quality over quantity. Parking is easy, and prices are reasonable considering the large servings.

The staff were delightful, so helpful, even when I asked a parking question (yes parking works differently in this country to back home). The food was delicious a d portions were generous! Everyone was smiling and laughing. What a lovely evening.

Great food, plenty of variety, reasonable prices, Family friendly. The place was already busy at 5.30pm. Will be my first choice when I am next in town.
