Our favourite eatery during our stay in Townsville. This little Sri Lankan restaurant surprised us in a good way. Located near the esplanade conveniently, it is quite popular when we were there. We ordered the garlic naan, tandoori chicken, lamb korma, and lamb beriyani in dum style. All four dishes were great. The lamb kurma was aromatic and decadently rich in flavour, the naan was fluffy and went well with the korma, the tandoori chicken was just right - not too dry and juicy, while the beriyani was not only flavourful, but also deliciously wonderful. Note that food can take a short while to reach your table, as expected. If we ever return to Townsville, this is definitely one of the places we will dine in again.

A hidden gem in Townsville! Such a cozy and romantic little restaurant with a warm, friendly atmosphere. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. The food is absolutely delicious — every dish is full of rich flavour. You must try their prawn curry — it’s amazing! Highly recommend Spice Haven for anyone looking for a beautiful dining experience.

Absolutely delicious food and friendly, authentic service. We had the lunch special with samosas (best ever) and a few other lunch meals - everything was so tasty and well presented. I had a Galic Naan & Butter Chicken. Garlic Naan was very crispy and very nice. Butter chicken was very creamy and very delicious. It's very nice flavour. The staff service was top level. I highly recommend this restaurant for delicious and lovely foods.

I had a pilau rice and a channa masala...both were delicious. Also, they were served very nicely and neatly. The staff service was top notch.I highly recommend Spicy Heaven to anyone who wants to enjoy a delicious meal.
