The Agrarian kitchen is an experience like none other. This has been the highlight of my trip to Tasmania. I have never experienced such an authentic garden to plate meal where every flavour was flawless and perfectly matched the majority of the wine pairing. While initially the price seems to be expensive, experiencing the set meal, you will understand why it has been priced in this way. This is absolutely value for money with the self guided tour of their gardens, greenhouse, kitchen and amazing front of house staff (props to Isabelle, who made the experience extraordinary. Her passion and insight into the food and wine was second to none. Her love for her job shone in the way she held herself during our interactions). The back of house staff are talented in their own right, creating many different flavour profiles not found elsewhere, but purely from their gardens! And we can't forget the gardeners, who manage and maintain such a large acreage. A job well done to everyone involved!!! 100 percent would definitely recommend to others!
Easily the best food experience of our life! My husband and I loved every detail. They even catered a couple of things to my dietary requirements and it was just perfect. We had the best experience and we canโt recommend this place enough!
A really fabulous hospitality experience that goes above expectations. Gabrielle took us on a wonderful tour of the garden, and then we enjoyed lunch in the restaurant. The team were so great. Every single one of them is informative and passionate about what they are serving. Itโs evident that a lot of care goes into their everyday work. Canโt wait to come back ๐
An unforgettable dining experienceโthe best my partner and I have ever had. From the moment you step into the greenhouse for the first course, surrounded by the very produce that will appear throughout the meal, Agrarian Kitchen feels magical. The dining room is beautifully spaced, lined with freshly picked flowers from the garden and shelves of jewel-toned pickled vegetables. A window into the serene kitchen offers a glimpse of the care and craft behind every dishโwhether itโs artichoke hearts being seared to perfection or pickled lemon miso being delicately placed alongside creamy burrata. The staff are warm, attentive, and impressively knowledgeable about every component on the plate. For the most joyful experience, Iโd recommend not reading the menu at allโlet each course arrive as a delightful surprise. Truly exceptional in every way.
Spent an enjoyable afternoon in the grounds and restaurant of this lovely regional foodie complex, which includes a cafe and cookery classes. The set menu provided some interesting flavours, with the bread, cherry/elderflower pannacotta and pork, celeriac + mustard the standout dishes. Staff were knowledgeable and efficient.
