Very highly rated on the Google reviews. I see why, this place has a laid back vibe with awesome antique furniture. Every dish came with a little surprise, everything had a "lost souls" twist to it. Great vegan/vegetarian selection. The spicy crumbed colliflower is a must try. I could literally eat that and nothing but that all day and be satisfied. Great work from the chefs, service and front of house.

Lovely staff and it has a beautiful patio out the back. The bao was great. We also got the ragu and spaghetti loaf which was a little too dry but great place nonetheless.

I made a booking online which was easy as. In the notes section I advised I had a person with hearing aids attending the dinner and if there was a particular spot in the restaurant we could be sat that would be the least noisy, That would be fantastic. They exceeded my expectations by making up and reserving two different tables for my group of 6 one inside and one outside for us to choose at the time of arriving which might be best to cater to the accommodation. It was really thoughtful and we super appreciate how kind they were with the accommodation. Ontop of that the food is genuinely delicious. Theyve nailed the summer menu and it was fancily presented. So if ya wanna instagram your fancy food AND have it be scrumptious! Then yeah hit this restaurant up! We had an early dinner 4.45 sitting on a Saturday and both cars got parks super close ! The staff were attentive and polite and bubbly. They nailed helping my celebrate my partner birthday everyone was really impressed with the food. So naturally ill be telling everyone I know about what a hit this place is!

We celebrated my daughters Engagement/ Farewell the other Saturday evening and booked the whole venue for this gathering. The team at Lost Souls made the experience easy and comfortable so that we could just enjoy the event. Food was amazing, cocktails spectacular and service friendly and accommodating. Random pit stop at Lost Soul Cafe in Newcastle. Spotted the strawberry rose tiramisu but it was sold out, so I went for the spring crumble instead and wow, absolutely delicious. They made it fresh and it paired perfectly with my piccolo for that afternoon pick me up. Friendly service, cozy vibe, and food worth the wait. Definitely stopping by again next time I'm in the area.
