What an incredible New Year’s Eve dinner, we were blown away by the food and the service. It was a busy night but the staff handled it so well. We were sat across from the kitchen and it was so lovely to hear such a calm head chef speaking to his kitchen and the wait staff so calmly and wonderfully with such a busy rush. Can’t wait to book back in for another wonderful experience

A beautiful meal and in a very comfy atmosphere with the exception of the Sun beating through from the west, which is my only complaint

Tables with distance between, perfect acoustics that we could talk & hear each other with easy. A pure rarity in soooo many other restaurants & cafes nearby. Delicious food flavoursome & beautifully presented, perfectly cooked, right sized portions for ladies doing lunch. Service excellent but had to ask for a glass of still water to be replenished while sparkling water bottle was left on the table. Definitely will be visiting again & often.

What a thrill to be treated to a fantastic Sunday night dinner! We discovered THE RETREAT on Retreat Road, a hidden gem that's both a sophisticated wine bar and restaurant. The cuisine was truly exceptional, leaving me eager to return and experience it all again.

Been looking fwd to trying this new venue & it didn't disappoint, the same as the groups other venue, Woolstore at the other end of Newtown. The building has been beautifully renovated & is in a quiet area of Newtown. Staff were friendly & professional - was nice to receive a complimentary dinner roll. They had an issue with our order docket which delayed serving our mains, so they offered us a complimentary dessert as a result - nice touch. Thoroughly enjoyed our mains of duck & ravioli. Will certainly return.
