Has a wonderful experience at Tides for my birthday lunch. The food was excellent with the meat for both my wife and I cooked to perfection. Their custom Lamington cocktail was delicious and highly recommended. Service was excellent too with our servers very accomodating. And of course has a gorgeous view over the water. Would highly recommend for any special occasion ( but who needs one, just go)
Wonderful food including crumbed crocodile, stunning steak and even better dessert. The gluten free offerings were great including everything mentioned here. No time for photos of the first servings, but did capture the incredible desserts.
The staff are so welcoming and lovely. $49 lunch 2 course is good value. The entrees were delicious and the mains - just all needed salt. Chicken had a blood vessel running through it but the kitchen assured us it was cooked through (it is something that does happen when cooked on the bone). The view was stunning and the martini was one of the best I've had.
Fantastic, first class experience every time I go here. Iโm a repeat customer so I rarely review because I come so often. Early December I needed to arrange a Xmas dinner for 20 people, first callโฆTides. Perfect atmosphere, great location, amazing food and we know that we can have a dinner for 20 people without a hitch. Menu first class. Service was perfect and great wine list to match. Highly recommend booking in especially for larger groups
My 50th lunch with seafood tower, champagne, nice bottle of wineโฆ not cheap for the two of us, yet the service was on point and seafood tower was not. Hot items were cold, prawns floury โฆ just not a grand tower. But a great and up to date beverage list to ease the pain. 2nd visit as a mid-week dinner months after the last visit. 3 course menu; still floury prawns, my opinion overcooked but certainly rubbery duck and a creme brรปlรฉe that wasnโt set but had a nice sugar crust โฆ generally three standard items for the kitchenโฆ will I complain in front of my wife and daughter to ruin the night? Certainly not, a trained manager or waitress could have spotted that, or the pastry chef seen the custard. Itโs a shame, just have to think hard to give you guys another goโฆ especially for that a-la-carte price.
