To be honest, I have never ever tasted beef and lamb this good. This is on a completely different level.๐คฉ๐คฉ Absolutely mind-blowing! Every dish they make feels like a piece of art. I didnโt just eatโI experienced the art omg
All the dishes were amazing! We especially loved the chef-recommended bread and todayโs special โ the fried chicken. The mains, both the chicken and the steak, were outstanding, and the cheese corn side was delicious too. The chef was also very fun and friendly, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend this as a must-go spot if youโre visiting Launceston!
Delightful and delicious ๐ Make sure you book! Had a lovely 350g rump steak grilled to perfection ๐. I didn't order any additional sides for my steak. Generous serve of ceviche which was absolutely tasty ๐ I definitely be back to try more selections โจ๏ธ
What a great find in Launceston! We were back early from Cradle mountain due to weather and this was the pick me up I needed. Delicious food, superb cocktails and amazing service and company! We were greeted at the door by this cheerful lady Sharon who also gave us recommendations on the food (try their specials) and drinks. The food is superb. The lamb skewers are definitely a favourite with a lovely flavour and their kiwi based chimichurri sauce (sounded weird at first), worked so well with it. The fried pork balls of goodness (canโt remember the proper name) was a rival to it. The octopus dish and even the white asparagus dish was delicious. The main fish dish was awesome, soft, with good flavours. Happy hour is from 9-10 on Friday and Saturday which is convenient if you prefer liquid desserts. The cocktails are top notch and not too sweet (a huge win in my books) so you can actually taste the other flavours! Al makes a mean margarita! The restaurant is spacious (still probably wise to book) and nicely decorated with a very friendly feel. We met the owners and rest of the regular staff who were a blast. I would definitely come back if I were visiting Launceston again and recommending this to friends and family!
I am quite the regular at Tres - I come back because of the service, vibe and the delicious food. I have not once not enjoyed the meal Iโve had here! Always welcomed warmly and with a smile. Their food is unmatched and something new we really needed in Launceston.
